The Los Angeles County Superior Court announced on August 20, 2020, that there is no court order prohibiting Pastor John MacArthur and Grace Community Church from holding indoor worship services.In other words, the threat of $20,000 in fines and counting from the county is so far not in effect. I suspect there will be further developments, but it appears that courts have been less than sympathetic to attempts by local county authorities to close churches.
